We’re currently seeking a Consultant Social Work Manager to join our Children Looked After and Leaving Care Hubs as we work to strengthen our Safe, Secure and Successful model and continue the progress our recent Ofsted inspection was a positive demonstration of.
Consultant Social Work Managers, sometimes known as Team Managers, hold case management responsibility for their hub and work closely with the team, clinicians and partner agencies. They ensure an holistic assessment of needs and risk analysis informs effective decision making and planning for the safety and wellbeing of children and young people, and complies with statutory and legislative requirements.
For this role you will need to be an HCPC registered social worker with a professional social work qualification, or equivalent, and at least four years’ experience. You will need to have direct management experience within children’s social services where you can demonstrate strong and successful leadership and the ability to maximise the potential of others and implement service improvements.
