A big thanks from Slough Children’s Services Trust

December 31, 2018

Slough Children’s Services Trust would like to thank everyone, including staff, residents and businesses, who supported the organisation’s Christmas gift appeal.

Hundreds of gifts were collected for some of the area’s most vulnerable children and families and given out by the Trust in time for Christmas Day.

Two members of the Trust’s staff also joined forces with the team at Angus Steakhouse, in London’s Piccadilly Circus, to give a dozen Care Leavers a Christmas Day they wouldn’t forget, providing a special lunch, as well as presents.

Queensmere Shopping Centre, Mars, 4 Your Future Soccer Academy, the Slough Observer, the Salvation Army were also among the organisations which offered their support.

“It goes without saying, that life for many of the families and children we support is extremely tough and they really appreciate the donated gifts. It’s amazing how the local community can come together in this way to really help make a difference. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed,” said Operations Director Eric de Mello.

If you work for an organisation that’s interested in supporting the Trust in 2019, please email Kate Brewster at kate.brewster@scstrust.co.uk
